Amblyopia & Strabismus

Amblyopia, or lazy eye, is a developmental condition where one eye has reduced vision due to poor coordination with the brain. Strabismus, or crossed eyes, is a misalignment of the eyes that can lead to amblyopia if untreated. Early treatment is essential and may include patching the stronger eye to strengthen the weaker one, corrective glasses, vision therapy, or surgery to align the eyes and restore normal vision function.
