Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve, often due to increased pressure within the eye. It typically develops slowly and without noticeable symptoms until vision loss has occurred, making early detection critical.

Treatment focuses on lowering eye pressure to prevent further damage. This may include prescription eye drops, oral medications, laser therapy, or surgical procedures. Regular comprehensive eye exams are essential for early diagnosis and effective management of glaucoma.
