Hyperopia (Farsightedness)

Hyperopia, or farsightedness, causes nearby objects to appear blurry while distant vision remains relatively sharp. It can lead to eye strain, headaches, or difficulty focusing—especially during close-up tasks like reading.

Corrective treatments include eyeglasses or contact lenses designed to refocus light on the retina. Refractive surgery, such as LASIK or PRK, may also be suitable for long-term correction.
