Myopia (Nearsightedness)

Myopia, or nearsightedness, is a common vision condition where distant objects appear blurry while close-up vision remains clear. It typically develops in childhood and can worsen over time if left uncorrected.

Treatment options include prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses to improve distance vision. For more advanced correction, Ortho-K (overnight reshaping lenses) or laser procedures such as LASIK may be recommended.
